Basics of Starter Systems
Dave reviews starter motor operation, solenoid operation, types of starters and how they differ. He explains internal starter motor circuitry and starter testing with a VAT 40. Dave also covers neutral switch testing, bench testing using a DVOM and a remote starter switch and voltage drop testing on a starter circuit.
